The role
WEBB Traders is looking for a Senior Quantitative Trader who is able to work together in a team to create new trading strategies.

As a Senior Quantitative Trader, you are responsible for the creation and monitoring of systematic data-driven strategies in financial markets. You will have a total understanding of the methodology of the strategies, how they should operate, recognize odd behaviors and understand market patterns to further optimize their performance. ** What you'll do**
Develop and execute systematic data-driven strategies in financial markets
Work closely together with other Trading Teams, IT Development and the Risk department
Continue building towards a more automated and data-driven trading environment and make it scalable and future proof
Contribute to all aspects of the trading desk activities, including: position reconciliation, risk management tasks, and post trade analysis
Report key results of the team to the management board
Effectively and critically challenging others when necessary
What you bring to WEBB
Educational background: Strong mathematical background like Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Finance or Computer Science
Quantitative expertise: Minimum of 5 years of experience with Quantitative Trading and demonstrable ability to build profitable quantitative strategies with a long term Sharpe Ratio of 3+
Technical mastery: Experience with Python and/or other languages, such as C++
Creative problem-solver: Very creative and able to come up with new trading ideas and translate patterns into quantifiable trading models
Leadership and drive: A driven, innovative, and enterprising team player with strong leadership skills, capable of managing projects end-to-end, coordinating effectively with other teams and ensuring seamless execution
Analytical mindset: A strong analytical thinker, risk tolerant, stress resistant and up-to-date with latest development
Language skills: You communicate effectively and clearly in English, both written and spoken
