About the Role

As a Graduate Trading Risk Analyst, you will play a key role in monitoring our trading activity, analyzing market risk, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our risk framework. You will work closely with traders, quants, and developers in an environment with high standards for risk and fast-paced decision-making. You will have ample opportunities to work on impactful projects, develop analytical tools, and contribute ideas that enhance our real-time risk understanding.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze trading activity, risk exposures, and P&L across portfolios in real time.
  • Help build, enhance, and maintain quantitative tools and models for market risk assessment.
  • Perform scenario analyses, stress tests, and backtests to understand behavior under different market conditions.
  • Collaborate with traders and developers to proactively identify and mitigate risks in fast-moving environments.
  • Design and develop intuitive tools and dashboards for visualizing risk and market dynamics.
  • Investigate anomalies in data or trading behavior to support continuous improvement of controls and processes.
  • Help ensure adherence to internal risk policies and contribute to the development of new frameworks.
  • Support day-to-day risk monitoring and operational processes critical to trading activities.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled or recently graduating from Bachelor's or Master's in Econometrics or similar.
  • A strong interest in financial markets, derivative products (futures, options), and risk management.
  • Experience in Python or C++ for data analysis and model development.
  • Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and financial modeling techniques.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Excel, and VBA is a plus.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills; able to explain complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, curious, and comfortable taking initiative in a high-stakes environment.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team under time-sensitive conditions.
